Puppet Ministry at Disciples

The No Strings Attached Puppet Ministry is an all volunteer, Christian puppet Ministry from Disciples Christian Church. We provide fun, wholesome, family entertainment for hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other non-religious community groups.

No Strings Attached Puppet Ministry started in 1993 as a Youth activity and quickly developed into a combined Youth and Adult ministry serving not only our own church, but the surrounding community. We enjoy the art of puppetry with its special entertainment value and we perform both religious and family oriented programs. We have over 100 different puppets including people, animals, reptiles, insects and even aquatic creatures. Our puppets range from the small "lady bug" to our 12 foot tall "indigenous people" puppets that performed before a crowd of over 15,000 people in Kansas City, Missouri.

We specialize in moral, Christian based, religious programs for a variety of church activities such as all-church dinners, evening programs, Sunday School, or after church programs. We also present Children's Moments during worship. We have led complete Sunday morning worship services both here at Disciples and in another local church.
