The Christian Women's Fellowship

The Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF) is an important ministry at Disciple's Christian Church. Every woman who attends our church is eligible to be a member. CWF provides opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and creative ministries that enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of Jesus Christ.

CWF meets once a month - usually at the church. We share devotions, book studies, and enjoy social events.

We have several fund raising activities each year. Proceeds from those events both help send our youth to church camp in the summer and purchase items needed by the church.

We also have an ongoing fund raiser; we sell Gift Cards each Sunday. They may be used to purchase groceries, lunches, dinners, home improvements, etc.

Some years we use Blessing Boxes that will be kept in the homes and offices of women in our church. These boxes will help us express gratitude for everyday blessings such as a sunny day, a birth, a child's smile or whatever might make us feel like saying, "Thank you God for your world and especially for people." When that happens, as a gift of thanks, we can put some money into our Blessing Box. The thank offerings we gather from the boxes will go toward the ministries we support through our treasury.
