The Fireside Library
History:
Our Church Library became the Sheedy Library in 1974 when a bequest from Lois Sheedy provided funds to upgrade it. Mrs. Sheedy loved books and often sponsored special book reviews for the Christian Women's Fellowship. The new Fireside Library is a gift from the Duane Mayhew family in memory of his wife, Eleanor. The Library is funded by interest from the Sheedy bequest, by monetary or book gifts from members of the congregation and book-loving friends, and by a line item in our annual church budget. Our Librarians have included Betty Berlin, Margaret Beer, Pat Muetzel, and Rev. Cynthia Barnard-Sheldon.
