We are committed to being a home for the arts

It is important to us that artists in our community have affordable and flexible spaces to create art in! We are in continual investigation and renovation when it comes to making our 30,000 sq. ft. building flexible and accessible to all. We provide reasonably priced space for on-going classes, rehearsals, performances as well as one time rentals.

We’ve worked intentionally to be inclusive in our renovations and to create a safe place of belonging for ALL people. Some additions include:

  • an inclusive children’s library housed in our entryway in the hopes that all young people who enter might see their diversity and beauty represented by the books on our shelves

  • gender-inclusive restroom

  • Nearly 3/4 of our building is ADA accessible, including a ramp directly on stage

spaces and places

Sanctuary

Our spacious sanctuary has been upgraded as a fully accessible space for many kinds of performances. The acoustic is fabulous. If amplification is needed, we have a brand new digital mixing board as well as high quality cameras with livestream capability. The space can comfortably fit 400 people and including the balcony, an audience of 500 is possible. Seating is flexible and chairs are movable so an intimate performance space is also possible. It is air conditioned and heated comfortably, includes a green room space as well as a full stage “cross-behind” with dressing rooms and bathrooms. The sanctuary is perfect for chamber ensembles, operas, dance companies, theatre productions and more.

Oakridge Dance Studio

The Oakridge Dance Studio is located down a half dozen steps and has window unit air-conditioning. The studio features a Marley dance floor with cushioned subfloor, plus full size mirrors along one wall. The space has an attached kitchenette, its own primary entrance and an adjoining room for temporary storage for artists/dancers. Restrooms are located on the 2nd floor along with additional classroom spaces. The space, including the stage, is approximately 22ft. x 56ft. plus the kitchenette.

Fellowship Hall

Our Fellowship Hall has two sections which can be divided by a sliding wall. It has been used for drum circles, Yoga, Samba, various types of dance, Thai Chi and Capoeira. It currently houses Heights Restoration Church on Sunday mornings and is a total of 36ft. x 62ft. (the smaller section is 36’ x 23’).

Chapel

Our high-ceilinged, climate controlled chapel has a beautiful acoustic for intimate performances, rehearsals and gatherings. Dimensions are 33’6”x25’. 50-60 people can fit in this beautiful space.
