Rev. Jason Bricker-Thompson

Rev. Jason Bricker-Thompson is a native Cleveland-er. He graduated from Hiram College & Vanderbilt Divinity and was the Education Director for a Heifer International Learning Center in MA (teaching about the root causes of hunger and poverty and Heifer’s work to end hunger & care for the earth). He then served as Chaplain & Dir. of the Office of Civic Engagement at Hiram College, was a youth minister at Kent UCC and then a senior minister at Community Church of Chesterland, UCC. He met his beautiful wife Monica, who is a licensed Social Worker, while working at Hiram House Camp.

Amy Campbell has been a member of Disciples for over 25 years, and began her church career as the Chi Rho and Christian Youth Fellowship leader in 2006. Over the years she has held several positions at church, and is currently the office administrator. She is the proud mama to her college aged kids, Paige and Devin, and an enthusiastic fan of her alma mater, Clemson University.

Amanda Powell

Amanda Powell

Amanda Powell, combines gifts of story-telling and musicianship to invite people to experience a deeper connection to themselves, one another and to the Spirit through "full-bodied" singing and worship. Amanda’s work in worship and song leadership began during a trip to South East Asia in 2001, sponsored by The United Methodist Women. Over the past decade, Amanda has directed, performed and presented workshops for a number of regional and national events including at Princeton Theological Seminary, Union Presbyterian Seminary, for The United Methodist Women's Assembly, the American Guild of Organists and for the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. Amanda has served as liturgist and worship leader at events with the World Council of Churches, The United Church of Christ Church House and the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Amanda also enjoys an eclectic career as a singer, performing often as a soloist with Cleveland’s Grammy-winning Baroque Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire. She is on the voice faculty at Cleveland State University. www.amandapowell.info

Christian Education

Paige Campbell is an aspiring professional dancer who graduated from Ohio University in 2022. During her time at Ohio University, Paige completed her degree in Dance Performance and Choreography as well as a minor in Business Administration and a certification in Social Media Studies. Studying under professors such as Travis Gatling, Zelma Badu-Younge, and Nathan Andary, Paige learned the ins and outs of the performing arts world learning about dance history, dance pedagogy, and theatre production. Paige is currently a nanny and teaches Sunday School at Disciples Christian Church.
