Making their Cleveland debut, Trio Boccherini, formed in Berlin in 2014, has become one of Europe’s most dynamic ensembles. Violinist Suyeon Kang, violist Vicki Powell, and cellist Paolo Bonomini are dedicated to exploring the rich but often overlooked repertoire of over 500 works for string trio, pairing celebrated masterpieces with rarely heard gems.
